Brain Fog: Post Covid Brain Research

Covid-19 may have changed the way our human brain develops over long periods of time. It is important to understand the changes in the brain and begin gathering longitudinal data now for research and development of interventions and therapies that may aid in improving clinical outcomes.

Our research will help understand the progression of neurological pathways and how the human brain changes over time.

This study center plans to use innovative new technology like the CogniFit Brain Fog App to better understand human cognition and compare that with our study population. CogniFit Inc. is a healthcare company that develops online cognitive assessments and intervention programs oriented at providing patient-centered scientifically grounded tele-rehabilitation tools to ameliorate cognitive dysfunction and brain fog in a variety of conditions and syndromes.

Since its inception, the company has focused its activity on the design of tools with validated efficacy to improve the quality of life of people whose conditions have had an impact on their general cognitive abilities. Thus, CogniFit Inc.’s commitment has always been to develop products in response to society’s needs.

“To whom my it concerns,

Considering the dramatic effects of the pandemic and the exorbitant numbers of people with cognitive impairment because of COVID-19 infection, CogniFit Inc together with our scientific community has made a commitment to design platforms specifically geared towards cognitive intervention in post-acute sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC).

CogniFit Inc. is committed to concentrate efforts in the creation of digital PASC-specific products that, supported by new technologies, will allow the design and implementation of precise, effective, and personalized interventions based on scientific findings. With an estimated prevalence of 1 in every 3 individuals with sequelae of COVID-19, generalized cognitive dysfunction is among the most important and incapacitating consequences of the infection in the mid and long term. In this scenario and supported by the extensive scientific literature demonstrating cognitive improvement using CogniFit’s computerized cognitive intervention tools, the company has developed a Computerized Cognitive Training for Post COVID-19 (namely, CogniFit’s Brain Fog app) as a software intended to strengthen the cognitive function of people affected by this condition, either by themselves or by psychologists.

Various studies and clinical trials endorse the use of CogniFit Inc.’s Brain Fog app oriented at helping the millions of persons suffering cognitive dysfunction as a sequela of COVID-19. The feasibility, safety, validity, and efficacy of this tool have been and are being endorsed by registered clinical trials led by independent research and academic institutions, providing additional and specific scientific support to the product.

We’d like to highlight the scientific evidence that backs up the use of CogniFit Inc.’s Computerized Cognitive Training software for an efficient treatment of cognitive dysfunction in different conditions. We want to stress the fact that the specific studies and clinical trials that endorse the use of CogniFit’s Brain Fog app are oriented at helping the millions of persons suffering cognitive dysfunction as a sequela of COVID-19. The feasibility, safety, validity and efficacy of CogniFit’s Post COVID-19 CCT has been and is being endorsed by registered clinical trials led by independent research and academic institutions (see the feasibility clinical trial and the safety and dosage clinical trial), as well as by scientific articles by renown scholars in the field.

In view of the urgency and importance of developing platforms that alleviate the burden on the healthcare system and improve the cognitive health and quality of life of people suffering from pervasive cognitive dysfunction, we humbly request your support and participation in our cognitive healthcare work in general, and more specifically for CogniFit Inc.’s Brain Fog app.”
